Polygraph Examiner certification course

This is a basic training course offering the students theoretical and practical tools allowing them to become regular polygraph examiners. The students are trained in theoretical and practical knowledge about the device and its use, and undergo hands on live practice and experience polygraph-assisted questioning techniques. The students will be introduced to various polygraph examination techniques and trained in their application. The course will focus on profound acquisition of necessary examination skills under many possible circumstances.

Advanced training for polygraph instructors

The success of a polygraph examiner depends on his skills and ability to read the situation and analyze the person he faces. Therefore, in addition to mastering the technical aspects of a polygraph examination, it is highly important to enable the examiner to analyze the human factor.  To deliver and maintain this knowledge takes an experienced instructor with excellent instructing skills.  The Advanced training for polygraph instructors provides students with tools allowing them to train and teach new polygraph examiners. The students shall practice instructing methods, analyze real-life situations based on their own experience, learn how to deal with possible dilemmas, and get experienced in practical instructing.

Polygraph Lab Directors training

One of the major problems of a polygraph laboratory director is maintaining the reliability of results despite performing a successive multiple examination. It means that a polygraph lab director must at the same time follow an intense schedule, as well as maintain the lab's professional standards and guarantee the reliability of examinations results. The Polygraph Lab Directors training deals with this as well as other polygraph lab director's professional dilemmas. In addition, the students shall learn how to properly supervise a polygraph lab, how to conduct an internship under the APA and Israeli Polygraph Association  regulations; learn what is meant by quality control; and learn about many other subjects from the highly experienced lecturers who are former Israeli intelligent services and privately-owned polygraph lab directors.

Being aware of the particular nature and needs of every organization, we are prepared to modify the training program to meet the organization's needs.

The process consists of the following

  • A several days' long screening of applicants for the position of polygraph examiner and polygraph lab director. This stage includes in-depth interviews with candidates, discerning the organization's needs and selecting suitable trainees.
     

  •  A comprehensive theoretical and practical training, under APA standards, 6 weeks, 300 hours long. It takes place either in the Academy’s facilities in Israel or in a suitable facility in the client's country,  
     

  • Internship with close consultation: a partial or full internship period, during which the Academy’s specialist shall closely consult the fresh graduates in their first steps in the field, helping them prepare and conduct polygraph examinations and analyze the results.
     

  • Organizing new polygraph labs and guiding their staff: establishing the lab, detecting patterns, setting the procedures and hiring the personnel
     

  • Consulting polygraph labs on organization, structure and operation.
     

  • Acquisition and integration of polygraph technology and lab equipment
